The Board of Trustees of the Donahue Foundation generally meets in late spring to consider grant requests. Applicants should send a preliminary letter containing the following information no later than March 1st.

If the proposal meets the Foundation's general area of interest, the applicant will be notified and asked to provide the following additional information:

The Donahue Foundation reserves the right to request a visit to the site of the proposed program as part of the decision-making process. Any proposals submitted after the required review time may be held over until the next scheduled meeting. Notification of the board’s decision will be sent by letter within 10 days of the meeting. The Foundation may request to evaluate the effectiveness of the grant awarded through a follow-up report.
